The Symposium caters to the Business Travel and Leisure markets.

Professionals attending include CEOs, CTOs, CCO’s, CPOs, Founders, Heads of Innovation, Heads of R&D, Heads of Incubation/Labs, Heads of API & Distribution, Corporate Heads of Business Development, Heads of Corporate Development, VP of Sales.

Get your API’s and Microservice’s licensed by larger travel companies and emerging travel tech companies.

Over 25% of a travel companies’ revenue is derived directly from APIs. Travel companies are building application networks, platforms and marketplaces to bring in new content, products and services and to push out their proprietary content and inventory. Emerging technologies are being launched as SaaS, Microservice’s, new content and inventory, data solutions to solve specific problems in the travel industry. Connect with one another through our unique B2B 1:1 meetings to expand your business and grow revenue.

1:1 Meetings are the focus of TSI Symposiums with Insightful Boardroom Panel Discussions and Technology Presentations.

TSI Symposiums deliver super high ROI for companies due to our exclusive invite & curation process.

150 1:1 meetings were held during the April 30th TSI Symposium.

360 1:1 meetings were held over 2-days during the January 7 & 8 TSI Symposiums.

How TSI Symposiums Work:  TSI invites (20-25) emerging travel tech companies and (10) larger travel companies to attend. The majority of the emerging travel tech companies attending will be B2B travel technology companies. 2-weeks prior to the Symposium we will post a list of all the companies and attendees attending. You then select the top 5 companies that you want to meet with 1:1. After we receive the request’s we look for matches, where both companies (buyers and sellers) request to meet. These requests get matched first and are guaranteed to meet in one of the (10) 1:1 meeting slots. We then match up the larger travel companies requests and then match the emerging travel tech companies’ requests. On average each company will receive a minimum of 9 scheduled meetings. Due to the intimate nature of our Symposium format and agenda structure you’ll meet all (10) of the larger travel companies and the (20-25) emerging travel tech companies.

One-on-one, pre-scheduled meetings.

The symposium curates quality engagements between larger travel companies and emerging tech companies through one-on-one meeting appointments. Emerging tech companies demo, gather feedback and work towards acquiring pilots and licensing deals. (10) 15-minute one-on-one meetings for the larger travel companies to meet with emerging tech companies to evaluate the technology.

Relationship building for pilots & licensing.

The intent of the private 1-day symposium is to bring key decision makers in the TSI network in a room with emerging travel tech companies that have technology “ready” to pilot/license. We are seeking quality vs. quantity. Larger conferences are great for learning and networking but rarely adequate for long-term relationship building.

Meaningful discussions and feedback.

In addition to the one-on-one meetings there will be up to (6) startup presentations and a panel session on best practices to pilot and license technology with larger travel companies. The goal is to facilitate product feedback on new API and microservice technology and to expedite piloting and licensing deals between the parties.

Symposium Testimonials

The TSI Travel Tech Symposium was a great success for 3Victors, a travel data service startup. The one day networking event generated multiple partnership opportunities for the near term, and many new relationships for the future. We’ll definitely be back!

Ken Cannon, 3Victors

One of the most well organized and useful events in the travel industry. The meetings were scheduled according to interests and coupled with breaks, allowed ample opportunity to network with prospects in understanding their needs. The presentations were also very insightful.

Trideep Aggarwal, TWAI

It is very effective. One place to meet so many potential significant players in one place. For us it is good to plant the seed in startup companies to focus on their innovations and let us do the plumbing underneath like we do it for so many big players.

Michael Strauss, PASS Travel Solutions

How often does a travel start-up ever get the opportunity to pitch to over half the business travel market in one room? The TSI Symposium managed this, and what made it extra special was the opportunity to have face-to-face meetings which gave me the chance to get to know these travel industry leaders as individuals.

John Lee, CultureMee

The Symposium was a great event. Being able to meet so many interesting startups in an efficient and informative way is an unusual and very beneficial opportunity.

Dan Reagan, Atlas Travel

After attending several travel congresses and shows, I can definitively say that the TSI Symposium was one of the most amazing opportunities to do networking with industry leaders. The format of the event and relevance of the speakers that came from these industry leaders led to more meaningful conversation and to more qualified follow-ups.

Guilherme Conde, Around Vector

What is Amadeus's Involvement in the Symposium

TSI is the organizer and owner of the Symposium. TSI has been a partner with “Amadeus for Startups” for the past 4-years. TSI helps introduce new startups to the Amadeus for Startups team for the licensing of their APIs. Amadeus for Startups is providing the venue space for the Symposium at the Amadeus Executive Center. Amadeus for Startups will have a table at the Symposium. Any company can attend whether or not you are licensing Amadeus APIs.

How Is This Event Different Than Other Travel Tech Conferences

The 1-day Symposiums focus on one-on-one relationship building between travel companies and travel tech startups. Larger travel tech conferences are good for professional development and networking but fail on relationship building. Deals are getting done through TSI Symposiums due to the relationship building. We match up companies together for multiple 15-minute one-on-one meetings throughout the day using our curated match-making process and invite only program. The 1:1 meetings give you an opportunity to demo your software and have quality time building new relationships in a structured format. You won’t have to track down people to get their attention as we will all be in one larger area for an entire day. This Symposium is about quality vs. quantity. We estimate there will be 30-35 companies in attendance with 50-60 people.
