Featured Investors & Emerging Tech Companies Attending:

Travel Startups Incubator® (TSI) is pleased to announce a 1-day travel technology investment Symposium, dedicated exclusively to investing in travel technology. We’re bringing together the world’s leading travel tech investors and vetted, investment grade, global emerging travel technology companies, raising Seed-to-Series A investment capital. The focus will be targeted at B2B travel technologies in the Leisure and Business Travel markets.

The global travel industry is growing at a double digit rate. Larger travel companies are going through massive digital transformations opening up opportunities for B2B travel technologies to reinvent how companies operate today.

Emerging technologies are being launched as SaaS, MicroServices and Data Solutions to solve specific problems within the travel industry.

1:1 Investor Meetings are the focus of the Travel Tech Investment Symposium with Insightful Boardroom Discussions.

150 1:1 meetings were held during our last Symposium on April 30th.

One-on-one, pre-scheduled meetings.

The investment symposium  will curate quality  engagements between travel  tech investors and tech  companies through
one-on-one meetings. Tech  companies pitch their  investment offering, demo  their technology and gather  feedback. Up to (10) 15-minute  one-on-one meetings for the  investors to meet with the  startups to evaluate the  investment opportunity.

Relationship building for investments.

The intent of the private 1-day investment symposium is to  bring key global travel  technology investors in the  TSI network in a room with  tech companies that have  technology “ready” for  investment. We are seeking  quality vs. quantity. Larger  conferences are great for  learning and networking but  rarely adequate for long-term  investment relationship  building.

Meaningful discussions and feedback.

In addition to the one-on-one  meetings there will be up to  (6) tech company investment presentations and a panel session from corporate travel tech investors on best practices for working with corporate VC in travel tech. The goal is to facilitate investment feedback on new travel technologies and to expedite investment deals for Seed-to-Series A investments.

Symposium Testimonials

The TSI Travel Tech Symposium was a great success for 3Victors, a travel data service startup. The one day networking event generated multiple partnership opportunities for the near term, and many new relationships for the future. We’ll definitely be back!

Ken Cannon, 3Victors

One of the most well organized and useful events in the travel industry. The meetings were scheduled according to interests and coupled with breaks, allowed ample opportunity to network with prospects in understanding their needs. The presentations were also very insightful.

Trideep Aggarwal, TWAI

It is very effective. One place to meet so many potential significant players in one place. For us it is good to plant the seed in startup companies to focus on their innovations and let us do the plumbing underneath like we do it for so many big players.

Michael Strauss, PASS Travel Solutions

How often does a travel start-up ever get the opportunity to pitch to over half the business travel market in one room? The TSI Symposium managed this, and what made it extra special was the opportunity to have face-to-face meetings which gave me the chance to get to know these travel industry leaders as individuals.

John Lee, CultureMee

The Symposium was a great event. Being able to meet so many interesting startups in an efficient and informative way is an unusual and very beneficial opportunity.

Dan Reagan, Atlas Travel

After attending several travel congresses and shows, I can definitively say that the TSI Symposium was one of the most amazing opportunities to do networking with industry leaders. The format of the event and relevance of the speakers that came from these industry leaders led to more meaningful conversation and to more qualified follow-ups.

Guilherme Conde, Around Vector

How Is This Investment Event Different Than Other Travel Tech Conferences

The 1-day Investment Symposium focuses on one-on-one relationship building between investors and startups. Larger travel tech conferences are good for professional development and networking but fail on relationship building and meeting investors. Deals get done through relationship building. We will match up investors and startups together for multiple 15-minute one-on-one meetings throughout the day. This will be an opportunity to demo your software, make your investment pitch and have quality time building new relationships with investors. You won’t have to track down people to get their attention as we will all be in one larger area for an entire day. This Symposium is about quality vs. quantity. We estimate there will be 10-15 investors and 10-15 startups in attendance.

Who should attend?

Investors: We are looking for VCs, Corporate VCs, Family Offices and Super Angels with interests in investing in travel technology.

Startups: We are looking for travel technology startups raising $500K-$10M, Seed-to-Series A investmet rounds.

Is There A Fee To Attend?

Yes, there is a fee for the Emerging Tech Companies. The fee includes attendance at the event as well as additional services provided by TSI throughout the year as part of our Innovation Program. Investors must be accredited investors. Please apply to attend the event and we will contact you with the full details.

What are closest hotels?

There are 10-15 hotels nearby Amadeus headquarters that are bookable via the TSI/Hotel Planner Booking Engine.
